Cafe Cornell

Café Cornell Community café in Saffron Walden and is part of the Enterprise East Group CIC and operated as a work-based training academy. We are open to residents of Cornell Court and the public.

What a fantastic Jubilee #LetsEatTogether celebration we had with our lovely guests, and wonderful students and staff. 💖 😍 Thank you to everyone that volunteered and supported the event.

Our #LetsEatTogether at Easter initiative was just ready in time for our lovely guests and what a fantastic day it was 😍 The Mayor even got roped in to help serve! A huge thank you to all our team who volunteered their time to support this event, you really did make a difference to our community at Easter.

On the 30th September we celebrated the opening of our new tearooms and our very first training academy. The Mayor of Great Dunmow, Cllr Emma Marcus cut the ribbon to officially open the tearooms, and the Great Dunmow Band played the most beautiful songs with their saxophones. 

The fantastic week finished with a 5 star food hygiene inspection. 

Another fantastic achievement for the team at our pop up cafe at the Chelmsford Job Fair.

On the 18th June 2020, we opened Sandy’s ‘Pop Up’ 50’s Diner and Training Academy.

Like The Tea Leaf, Sandy’s Diner is part of the Enterprise East Group CIC and is operated as a work-based training academy.

Sandy’s Diner offers a take away and delivery service, as well as an outside seating area for customers to sit and eat.

WOW! Look whats been delivered 🤩🤩🤩 this is our first EVER nomination and we are thrilled and so very grateful!! 🙏🏆On behalf of the whole team, 😍🌟 THANK YOU 🌟😍
